Product Marketing Manager

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketing Manager to join our team of marketing and product experts. This cross-functional role is critical to the go-to-market success of our elite sales technology.

Daily Responsibilities and Activities: 

  • Become a product expert on Gryphon’s business and all product/service offerings
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and be the expert with respect to competitive products and services 
  • Be an expert in positioning Gryphon against the competition
  • Develop an expert understanding of a Gryphon’s buyer personas, their pains, and how our solutions can help 
  • Own market intelligence including market trends, competitive landscape changes, changes to the salestech ecosystem. Consistently provide updates and feedback to the organization on market intelligence
  • Define and execute product marketing strategies and deliverables, including new product go-to-market plans / launches, commercialization, partner programs, and enablement materials for our customers and their users 
  • Obtain, maintain, and share industry, market, and product knowledge with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams 
  • Produce product-related content including website copy, videos, datasheets, blog posts, sales demos, and case studies 
  • Partner with Enablement to train the Sales and Customer Success organizations to understand our target personas and provide them with the necessary tools to properly position and sell Gryphon’s platform
  • Build customer relationships to understand the mind of the buyer, develop references, drive case studies and identify champions 
  • Partner with marketing on analyst relations, including conducting product briefings 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing at high-growth companies with multiple products and buyer personas 
  • Track record establishing go-to-market processes and executing feature and product launches
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability. Must be able to deliver clear, compelling, and articulate written and verbal communications. Past writing samples and slide decks required
  • Expertise in user, audience, and market segmentation based in behavioral analytics, market research, survey/sentiment, etc.
  • Strong analytical mindset – comfortable interpreting and summarizing data, and drawing actionable insights and action items from it 
  • Ability to analyze product usage and marketing pipeline data to make business recommendations 
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and across multiple business units 
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to work individually on self-driven projects, manage and meet deadlines, and prioritize project lists
  • Must have experience working with analysts and research and advisory firms, such as Forrester and/or Gartner
  • Flexibility and positivity when priorities change
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or related
